Gullifty's Cedar Cliff Mall New Cumberland, PA |
Classy restraunt with a short, wide stage, good lighting, and a checkerboard dance floor in the "Underground" basement. Note: Pagers and cell phones do not work in the performance area. This is a popular place to go in the Harrisburg area. |
|
Fat Daddy's Market Street York, PA |
DJ'd Dance Club upstairs, stage with real stage lighting and a small carpeted dance floor downstairs. Popular deck during warm weather. Often caters to heavier rock music. 105.7 TheX is often spotted here. It's one of the night clubs of choice in York, but it can be considered a bit of a meat market (singles club). They have good security, and they will swipe the magnetic strip on your driver's license. Must be 21+. |

Murph's Other Bar 360 W Cottage Place York, PA 717-846-6556 Wed-Sat 7pm-2am |
Otherwise known as "The Depot", Murph's is a classic college bar. It's the kind of place that I end up driving in a circle because I turned the wrong direction every time I go there. Don't ask me for directions yet. ;) With reasonable drink prices, and a down to earth atmosphere, you get the feeling there's no BS about the place. It's just an honest to goodness bar. Murph's known as a supporter of local original music, and it's one of those landmark places you'd like to see if you're visiting York, PA. If you want dance music, go down the street to Murph's Study Hall... |
